FAQ
Where are my photos stored?
Encrypted in Australia. For AI features we may briefly send a thumbnail to a regional or overseas processing region; we disclose this in the privacy policy.
Do I need a phone app?
No. iknowihave works in any modern browser on any phone or laptop. Native apps may come in v2 if there's demand.
Can my partner / kids use the same account?
Yes — that's the point. Each household has multiple members. Items, locations, and photos are shared across members.
What if I cancel?
Your data stays. You drop back to the free tier. AI features stop; everything else keeps working. You can always export your full inventory as an Excel workbook bundled with photos.
Is there an API?
Not in v1. If you'd find one useful (home automation, smart shelves, RFID), tell us — that's how the roadmap gets built.
